Our Story

Katelyn has always loved to travel. In 2016 she visited Edinburgh and immediately fell in love with the city. Further visits during her 2018 Europe trip cemented her love for Scotland and she decided to go on an adventure by moving there for a few years.

We met after matching on a dating app, and got on really well from the start. When Katelyn returned to Melbourne in 2023 it was Geoff's turn to go on an adventure by moving countries. Ever since we've been building our life together here in Melbourne.

Katelyn broke with tradition by proposing to Geoff, and now we're excited to be planning our wedding!

We have carefully considered each invitation, and your personal invitation will specify exactly who is included.

Ceilidh Dancing

"Ceilidh" (pronounced kay-lee) is a Scottish word for gathering, and what better to do at a gathering than dance!

A ceilidh band is often made up of fiddle, guitar and bass, and a "caller" who is a member of the band that teaches the dance to the room and continues to guide dancers through-out the song, so no practising is required!

We have been to several ceilidhs together, in Edinburgh and in Melbourne. It is a lot of fun, and no prior knowledge, skill or coordination is required.
